Performance of the modern playback theater Playback#01
Dear friends, we are excited to invite you to take part in the performance of the modern playback theater on October 13, at 19-00. Have you ever heard of the Playback Theater? It is a form of a unique encounter between art and ordinary life. Actors do not play their roles until spectators tell stories about themselves. The presenter defines the topic inviting viewers to a dialogue. Viewers share their stories and experiences. Actors instantly create improvisation based on what they heard.
Playback Theatre is an interactive form of improvisational theatre in which audience members tell stories from their lives and watch them enacted on the spot.
It is a form of unique combination and delicate balance between art and our life. It is an improvisational theater, where there is no director, no plot… The actors don’t play until you tell your story.
You can become an active member of the performance by sharing your story and living it again while the actors play it back to you. Or you can just be there, watch the performance and reflect.
